Release from 31.08.2018
The Upper Austrian technology group FACC is proud of its experts of the future: Thirteen apprentices of the FACC Future Team recently completed their apprenticeship training with excellent results. Eleven of them even passed their final apprenticeship examination with distinction or merit. Young technology enthusiasts can now follow in their footsteps and are invited to take part in apprenticeship trial days.
For many years, FACC has not only been an important employer in Upper Austria but also a role model as regards apprentice training. This commitment has once again been confirmed by the top performances in the final apprenticeship examinations - eight apprentices passed with distinction, three passed with merit. Year after year, the company based in the Innviertel also impresses with top rankings in apprentice competitions.
"Looking back, my apprenticeship gave me the opportunity to acquire extensive technical knowledge, both of a theoretical and practical nature. In addition, I was able to further develop my social skills in my day-to-day work with various colleagues during job rotation or through the numerous social competence training courses," explains Sabrina Indinger. Motivated by her interest in technical professions, she decided to train as a design engineer at FACC and subsequently completed her apprenticeship training with distinction. The hard-working native of Enzenkirchen has already accomplished her first career step: "I am currently working as a design engineer in the field of aerostructures tooling. My goal, however, is to continue my education and to possibly complete a part-time course of study. This will open up numerous opportunities for me with the globally active aerospace group FACC."
A good performance pays off in many ways
In addition to an above-average gross monthly salary (740 euros in the first year of training, 1110 euros in the second, 1480 euros in the third and 1670 euros in the fourth year of training; valid for 2018), FACC offers trainees numerous additional incentives to show their full commitment: The range of offers includes action-packed outdoor events as well as interesting excursions to partner companies in order to get even more familiar with products and their use. Moreover, FACC covers 100% of the accommodation costs and guarantees continued pay whilst attending vocational school. In addition, the company gives its Future Team the gift of mobility by financing the Youth Network Ticket and also rewards outstanding results at vocational schools, apprentice competitions and final apprenticeship examinations with bonus vouchers.
Proud apprenticeship trainers and superiors
"Congratulations to all apprentices for their outstanding achievements," Helmut Winkler and Otmar Schneebauer, training managers at FACC, are delighted to announce. This is where the perfect implementation of the FACC values, output, performance, team spirit and respect, truly become visible.” FACC has been offering committed young people an ideal environment to receive specialist training for more than 15 years. “Our own training workshops, in-house specialist training at the FACC Academy, job rotation through various company divisions as well as apprenticeship projects of a social nature and special preparatory courses for the final apprenticeship examination are key components of our training program," explains Winkler. In addition to classical training, persons in charge of apprentice training at FACC also attach great value to communicating social aspects. "Key qualifications such as honesty, reliability, open-mindedness, punctuality, friendliness, accuracy and helpfulness are of great importance to us. At FACC, each apprentice also receives comprehensive personality training," Schneebauer adds.
Clearing the stage for the next generation
This autumn, FACC will once again offer young, committed people the opportunity to get to know the various apprenticeships within the company. "We invite all interested young people to come and see for themselves what our comprehensive training is all about. Our trial days mainly take place from September to February. However, we are happy to arrange individual appointments upon request as our FACC Future Team is very important to us. After all, these are the experts of tomorrow who will ensure the long-term success of the company," says Helmut Winkler. For more information, visit our
