FACC honors long-time employees

For more than 30 years, FACC has been one of the international technology leaders in the aerospace industry, a partner for all renowned aircraft and engine manufacturers worldwide and one of the leading companies in Austria. FACC's proven performers are its employees, because their expertise and skills are the key to the company's success. Now, on the occasion of their service anniversaries, long-standing employees have been honored by FACC for their dedication, commitment, and loyalty.

FACC has been a successful global player in the aerospace industry for more than 30 years. And not a few FACC crew members have actively experienced and shaped a large part of the company's history - some even the entire history of the company. In total, 242 FACC employees will be honored this year for their 3,740 years of service. Eighty employees are celebrating their 10th anniversary, ninety-three the 15th, fifty-three the 20th and seven the 25th.

"I am very pleased that we are honoring and rewarding colleagues who have joined us on our path to success over many years and have made our company a success story through their personal commitment. It is not a matter of course that employees are so loyal, are committed on a daily basis and remain loyal to the company in good times as well as in difficult times. Therefore, I would like to thank them sincerely for their loyalty and hope that we will together continue to contribute to the success of FACC for many years to come," says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC AG.

The FACC crew also includes colleagues who have worked for Fischer since the company was founded or even before that. This year, three employees are celebrating their 30th, four their 35th and two their proud 40th anniversaries. "I am very proud to be a member of the FACC team - right from the beginning, when the first projects were handled as part of Fischer. FACC has a special spirit and always offers challenges. We work closely together, across departments, locations and countries. We work hard, but we also have fun and pleasure in doing so," says Rudolf Leitner, Executive Vice President Procurement, who is celebrating his 35th anniversary this year. Christian Schmidbauer, who can look back on 40 years with the company, is also enthusiastic about aviation: "Working at FACC has fascinated me from the beginning, it is a part of my life. The good working atmosphere, the diversity and the opportunity to help shape future-oriented projects for aviation are still an important motivation for me after several decades".

In addition to the well-deserved awards for long-standing service and loyalty, 25 employees at FACC were bid farewell on their retirement. The management board of FACC thanked all those celebrating their anniversaries and retirees for their many years of good cooperation and presented a small gift to commemorate the employees' anniversaries.
