FACC is one of Austria's most attractive employers

In a large-scale study conducted by the personnel service provider Randstad, FACC is recognised as the best employer in Upper Austria. FACC is ranked sixth in Austria and is one of the TOP 3 industrial companies.

The "Randstad Employer Brand Research" is one of the largest and most renowned employer rankings in Austria. In the broadly representative survey, over 4,300 participants rated Austria's 150 largest companies in terms of their attractiveness as an employer. Wages and social benefits, a high level of job security, an excellent working atmosphere and a good work-life balance were named as the most important factors for choosing an employer. FACC achieved excellent scores in all of these areas and is therefore one of the top six companies in Austria - in Upper Austria it came in first place. In the ranking of all industrial companies, which was also included, FACC's attractiveness as an employer was also impressively emphasised with third place.

Diversity and equal opportunities

The Randstad Employer Brand Research placed a special focus on the topic of diversity and equal opportunities - one of the reasons for FACC's excellent positioning: "Last year in particular, we took an important step towards more equal opportunities in the company by founding the FACC Wings for Women network," emphasises Martina Hamedinger, VP Human Resources at FACC. "In this way, we promote and support women in their professional development and offer a platform for internal networking." FACC also places a special focus on working in a way that is appropriate for different phases of life: Flexible working hours or job-sharing models, working from home and the possibility of part-time management positions not only promote diversity and the success of the company, but also open up opportunities for growth in times of a shortage of skilled labour.

Employer satisfaction as key to performance

"The know-how, experience, teamwork and innovative strength of employees are among the key success factors of FACC," emphasises Martina Hamedinger. FACC therefore launched the LIFE Program around a year ago, in which existing and new measures for the support, further development and well-being of employees are bundled. The package of measures, which is based on the pillars of family, social, health, sustainability and career, is available to the entire crew and focuses on supporting the entire workforce with individual offers and the personal development of each and every individual.

Holistic sustainability concept

Sustainability in particular is increasingly becoming a decisive factor in the labour market. As part of the Smart Mobility Initiative, FACC provides carpools for employees, with e-cars for journeys to work and home, which may also be used at weekends. This noticeably relieves the burden on regional traffic - and also represents a financial incentive for the workforce.

Over 500 new employees in 2024

In the 2024 financial year, FACC will grow by around 500 new employees; at the end of the first quarter of 2024, the workforce totalled around 3,600 employees. Accordingly, the focus this year will again be on further increasing the company's attractiveness as an employer and on successful onboarding.
