FACC Welcomes 15 New Apprentices to its Future Team

This Monday, 15 new apprentices began their training at FACC AG. These young talents are joining the company’s internal “FACC Future Team”, bringing the total number of team members to 51.

As an international aviation company and an attractive employer in the region, FACC is welcoming 15 new apprentices at the start of the new training year. The young talents began their training this Monday in the fields of operations logistics, purchasing, fiber composite technology, and design. With these new additions, the “FACC Future Team” has now grown to 51 members. Particularly encouraging: The fact that women make up about 40 percent of the Future Team impressively underscores the high level of interest among young women in technical careers in the aviation industry.

Diverse Career Prospects

FACC ranks among the top aviation companies worldwide — all major manufacturers rely on the expertise of the Austrian aviation specialist. This means that all doors to the international world of aerospace are open to apprenticeship graduates. “Our apprentices today are the experts and leaders of tomorrow. We are proud to once again accompany so many motivated young talents as they enter the aviation industry this year and to support them as best as possible on their career paths,” emphasizes apprenticeship trainer Helmut Winkler.

FACC’s appreciation for its youngest team members is also evident in seven weeks of vacation for apprentices at FACC and free lunch in the company canteen. In addition, under certain conditions, the costs for a driver’s license are covered if the apprentice successfully completes his or her apprenticeship.
